This in-person event will bring together experts from diverse stakeholder groups to:
• Evaluate innovative measures for sustainable agriculture.
• Understand the drivers and barriers of innovation in pesticide use reduction.
• Identify knowledge gaps and research needs across the agricultural value chain.
Don’t miss the chance to be part of critical discussions shaping the future of pesticide reduction strategies and sustainable farming practices.
FORTUNA’s primary objective is to identify upcoming research challenges in the field of pesticide use reduction within the framework of the European Farm to Fork (F2F) Strategy. Our focus is on exploring innovative techniques and strategies that can support the reduction of pesticide use across the arable sector, field vegetable production, fruit cultivation, orchards, and vineyards.
T0P-Agri’s main objective is to pave the way for new crop protection strategies and practices without chemical pesticides including approaches for
technical and organizational re-design.
Pre-Workshop Survey
We will invite stakeholders to contribute to our collection of tools and strategies to reduce pesticide use with their experience and ideas for innovative strategies through a questionnaire including the opportunity to describe drivers and barriers for pesticide use reduction. The results from this questionnaire are the basis for our workshop discussions in February 2025.
